The concept of digital disruption isn't new but are the "traditional" professions - the lawyers, accountants, engineers, architects & doctors - adapting their skills and business models quickly enough?
The attached article is an interesting read. Are we all burying our heads in the sand? Disrupt or be disrupted?
Another interesting reaction to the book is that professionals read it, nod their heads, and say "this is very interesting and what you've written is very accurate and it applies to every profession except for my own". It's not that people are blinded to the change. It's just very difficult to see it in your own profession when you are very used to a way of doing things.
